Iris Colon-Bardo appointed to assistant VP at Sussex Bank

ROCKAWAY — Iris Colon-Bardo has been appointed to assistant vice president and senior mortgage underwriter of the Retai Lending Dept.

Bardo brings more than 13 years of experience in the mortgage business and most recently held the title of Mortgage Underwriter with JP Morgan Chase in Jacksonville, Florida. Colon-Bardo has had prior positions in the banking industry including senior litigation paralegal at EverBank and manager of loss mitigation/Foreclosure Dept. at Express Equity Lending Group.

Bardo, who graduated from Bradley University with a BS in International Studies, participates in the Autism Speaks Walk and is a new resident of North Plainfield. Additionally, she is fluent in both English and Spanish languages and she has three children; Alejandro, Nicole and Maria.
