    Nicholas Blaze Barrise, 19, of Hamburg was charged with burglary, theft, possession of heroin and marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and use of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Police said they met with a resident who reported jewelry, money and other merchandise was taken from the home.

    Following an investigation by the Franklin Borough Police detective bureau, Barrise is alleged to have entered a residence on Davis Road without the homeowner’s consent and or knowledge. He is further alleged to then removed merchandise, jewelry, and currency.

    Police said at the time of his arrest, Barrise was alleged to be in possession of several packets of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

    He was sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of $43,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
