FRANKLIN — Middle school students in Kelly Fedynich’s Enrichment class at Franklin Borough School held a bake sale to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

As part of a class project, the girls researched how to run a successful business, along with researching recipes to learn how to cook new foods. Students in the class sampled the variety of foods and voted on their favorites. Based on the votes, the girls picked the most popular items to sell at the bake sale in order to raise the most money.

The bake sale was a success with all food selling out. The girls raised a total of $140, and they are excited to donate this money to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
