    Ryan M. Caputo, 33, of Dingman's Ferry, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, having an open container of an alcooholic beverage in a motor vehicle, being an uninsured motorists and driving an unregistered vehicle and not maintaining headlamps.

    While assigned to Countywide DWI Enforcement as part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” Statewide DWI campaign, a sheriff’s sergeant observed a dark colored Ford pick-up truck, operated by Ryan M. Caputo, with only one working headlight traveling on County Highway 560 East in Sandyston Township.

    After pulling over and speaking with him and observing him attempt to perform several sobriety tests, deputies determined Caputo to be impaired. Further investigation revealed Caputo also was uninsured, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle while his driver’s license was suspended. Additionally, an open container of alcohol was discovered in Caputo’s vehicle. He was immediately arrested and transported to the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office for breath sample analysis and processing.

    He was issued summonses for the above offenses, given a future court date to appear in the Frankford Twp. Joint Municipal Court and subsequently released.
