Viola Doris Kinney

Viola Doris Kinney (nee Keats), 86 years old, died after a short illness at her home on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015. Born to Douglas and Lucy Keats in Lafayette Twp., N.J., she lived in Franklin, N.J., before moving to Hardyston Twp., N.J., 51 years ago.

Viola was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed cooking and cleaning. She enjoyed visits to Atlantic City and was a doting mother and grandmother.

Viola was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Kinney and 2 brothers, Patrick Keats and Otto Nass and was the devoted mother of Andrew D. Kinney and his wife, Susan, of Hardyston Twp., N.J., Paul J. Kinney and his wife, Susan, of Hardyston Twp., N.J., and Edward J. Kinney and his wife, Maria, of Wayne, N.J. Loving grandmother of twins, Andrew and Joseph and Michael. Dear sister of Michael Keats of Pine Bush, N.Y. Cherished by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St., Franklin, N.J., on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, from 2-5 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at noon at the funeral home.
