    Mary C. Ortman, 59, died peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at her residence in Hamburg. Mary, daughter of the late Robert W. and Eleanor Ortman, was born in Newark on Aug. 30, 1955. She had resided in Toms River before moving to Hamburg 5 years ago.

    Mary was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hardyston, where she also volunteered in the church office. She enjoyed socializing especially with her Bible Study Group. Mary also was a volunteer at Community Medical Center during her many years in Toms River. She was an avid video gamer, enjoyed her dogs and loved her family deeply.

    Mary is survived by brother and sisters, Robert W. Ortman Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Franklin Park, Ruth Ortman-Cozine and her husband, Jay, of Brick, Pat Juliano & her husband, Ralph, of Dingman’s Ferry, Pa., and Jean Stephens and her husband, Seth, of Hamburg as well as her nieces and nephews, Amelia, Samantha, Morgan, Zachary, Theresa, Noah, Jason and Emma.

    A memorial service will be held Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 3320 Rt. 94 Hamburg, NJ 07419.
