Legion Post plans Blue Star Salute

JEFFERSON — The American Legion Post 423 is sponsoring a Blue Star Salute for residents who are serving in the Armed Forces, veterans of the Gulf War to the present time, veterans of the Vietnam War and their families on Saturday, May 2, in the Jefferson Township High School auditorium.

There will be a reception in the cafeteria for those being honored and their families after the presentations.

The Blue Star Salute Committee is compiling a list of Jefferson Township residents who are serving in the military and veterans who have served in the Armed Forces since Desert Storm and veterans of the Vietnam War.

A reception in their Honor will be held in the High School Cafeteria.
