    Kayla Talmadge, 21, of Hamburg, New Jersey was sentenced to three years of probation and time served.

    She was ordered to enter and complete a thirty day inpatient drug treatment program and follow the recommendations of a recently submitted TASC evaluation. She must pay total fines and penalties of $1,205 and submit a DNA sample at her expense.

    She pleaded guilty on Aug. 18 to the third degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    In pleading guilty, Talmadge admitted to possessing several Xanax tablets without a prescription on July 12 in Franklin.

    Christopher Vargas, 27, of Port Jervis, NY, was sentenced to three years of probation and 270 days in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility with credit for 149 days already served.

    He must undergo mental health and TASC evaluations and follow all recommendations, have no contact with the victim and pay the victim $15,000 restitution.

    He pleaded guilty on Oct. 27, to third degree burglary.

    In April of 2014 the defendant broke into a Montague home knowing the victims were on vacation. He took various items from the home including electronics and jewelry.

    Jan. 20
    Michael Donohue, 19, of Wyckoff pleaded guilty to the third degree crime of aggravated assault.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 13.

    He admitted that he punched an individual in their eye causing significant bodily injury in Sparta on Aug. 14.

    The matter was investigated by the Sparta Police Department.

    Joshua Sliker, 28, of Newton, pleaded guilty to the third degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 13.

    He admitted to distributing on Oct. 22 to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.

    Jan. 23
    Randy L. Norman, 25 of Wantage, NJ, was sentenced to three years in state prison, which was suspended, given parole supervision for life, Megan’s Law registration, and credit for time served.

    He pleaded guilty on Oct. 22, to two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a third degree crime.

    Adam Frazer, 29, of Wantage, was sentenced to two years of probation on condition that he enter and complete an intensive outpatient treatment program, attend AA two times per week, comply with DCPP, complete ten hours of community service and pay all court fines and fees.

    He pleaded guilty on Dec. 1, to third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

    Frazer’s child was a passenger in his vehicle when Vernon Police initiated a motor vehicle stop. During the stop the defendant was found to be in possession of heroin.

    Russell Sienkiewicz, 31, of Sussex, pleaded guilty to two counts of third degree possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Heroin) and two counts of third degree Distribution of a Controlled Dangerous Substance (Heroin).

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for March 20.

    The defendant admitted to being in possession and distribution of Heroin on several occasions.
