Theodore David Babich

    Theodore David Babich, 56, passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family at his side on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. He was born in Passaic on Nov. 24, 1958, and grew up in Clifton, was a resident of Franklin before moving to Wantage 15 years ago.

    Theodore was an auto mechanic for Matt’s Auto Service in Clifton for 32 years. He served as a deacon and taught Sunday school and was a cadet counselor and coached soccer for the Sussex Christian Reformed Church. He loved Ocean Grove, N.J., and camping.

    Theodore was the beloved husband for 30 years to Donna L. (nee Wright) Babich, and loving father of Teddy, Michael, and Christina Babich all at home, and is survived by his parents, Theodore and Anna (nee Mizgala) Babich of Clifton, and his two brothers, Matthew Babich and his wife, Patricia, of Wayne, and Timothy Babich, and Jessica Norman whom he loved like a daughter.

    Relatives and friends will be received on Tuesday, Feb. 10th from 4-8 p.m. at the Ferguson Funeral Home 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J., and are invited to attend funeral services at the Sussex Christian Reformed Church, 51 Unionville Ave., Sussex, N.J., on Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m., interment services at the CloveCemetery, Wantage, N.J.
