Hamburg playground project starting

HAMBURG — Hamburg council members Daniel Barr and Mark Sena have been working on plans for the construction of the new playground.

“We have all the brochures and paperwork.” Barr said. “We’re working on in it and we will have a plan by spring.”

Currently, work is being done to lay out the playground to include a Little League field. The borough is looking to add an additional recreational field to the complex, however, a final layout has not yet been approved.

“We’re looking at a different location for the field,” Barr said. “The new location won’t interfere with the Little League field.”

Project updates will be given at Borough Council meetings. A construction date has not been given at this time.
