What does it mean to be healthy?

While many think that being healthy means being free from disease, some know the definition is much more involved. True health is a state of optimal physical, mental and social well-being. Just because you don't feel sick, doesn't mean you are healthy.

Your chiropractor realizes the way your body is functioning is directly related to your health. Many so-called "diseases" are actually warning signs that the body is not working properly.

To achieve optimum physical, mental and social well-being, the body needs to be in balance. This cannot always be achieved by eating right, exercising, sleeping properly and having a good mental attitude alone—it also requires a properly functioning nervous system. Chiropractic care strives to promote health through specific spinal adjustments which free the body of nerve pressure that can positively impact your overall body function.
