    Alexis Bishop of Oak Ridge participated in Susquehanna University's annual LeaderShape program in January.

    The LeaderShape Institute is a six-day leadership seminar for college students, focusing on a range of activities and informational sessions that build community and inspire participants to be better campus leaders. The program engages students, faculty and staff facilitators, and aims to both strengthen the network of existing campus leaders and prepare newer students for future leadership roles.

    Bishop is a political science and creative writing major at Susquehanna. The daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Bishop, she is a 2012 graduate of Jefferson Township High School.

    Morgan Carey of Stockholm and Emily Hollenbach of Hamburg were named to the dean's list at Marist College for the fall 2014 semester.

    Carey is a business administration major and Hollenbach is majoring in English.

    Robert Zajdel of Oak Ridge is serving an internship this spring at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.

    Zajdel's responsibilities include creating a method to help staff recognize and access information about individual members, providing club management with refined data, and providing club management with recommendations regarding the best use and utilization of existing banquet event order software. Through the course of the internship, he will gain experience in creating and revising POS data collection methods and creating easy to understand reports for the staff.

    Zajdel is an information systems major in the class of 2015.

    Heather Jeanne Marra of Oak Ridge, the daughter of Christopher Marra and Jeanne C. Marra, and a 2013 graduate of Jefferson Township High School was named to the dean's list at Juaniata College for the fall 2014 semester.

    Each student must have at least a 3.6 grade average out of a possible 4.0.

    Daniel Grinthal of Lafayette and Kristen Swerzenski and Justin Thomas, both of Oak Ridge were named to the dean's list for the fall 2014 semester at Rochester Institute of Technology.

    Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for dean's list if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.4, they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
