Vincent Ortega, singer, actor, dancer, and choreographer from New York City, as well as Broadway performer spent the day coaching the Wallkill Valley High School’s cast of ‘The Addams Family’ on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

Ortega, who himself portrayed several roles in ‘The Addams Family’, worked with the cast on motivation, timing and mannerisms over the course of the day.

"It was a pleasure to have Vince with us all day," said play director Christine Molnar. "He gave us his insight to the experience he had while being in the the show himself all around the world. He showed us the secrets of the show and the best way to tackle all the crazy elements. The cast of Addams Family was fully engaged with Vince all day working on character development, dance moves, and their energy on stage. The students wish he could come back everyday and were grateful for his time and help.“
