Veronica E. Clark

    Veronica E. Clark, age 81, lost her long battle with Alzheimer's and passed away peacefully on Feb. 7, 2015 at her daughter's home in Vernon.

    She is survived by her daughter, Denise Traut, her son-in-law Phil Traut, and her three grandchildren, Heather, Brandon and Jason Traut, who were the light of her life.

    She came into this world Aug. 31, 1933 in her beloved Bayonne, N.J., where she was raised her whole life. After getting married, she moved to Metuchen, N.J., where she raised her daughter and lived until moving to Sussex County in 2010 to be closer to her family here.

    She will be most remembered by all by how she lived. She was a bright, fun-loving, vivacious, outgoing, dedicated, caring, giving mother, grandmother and friend who doted on all those most precious to her.

    A private memorial was held for her on Sun. Feb 22, where she was remembered by all who loved her deeply.

    The family wishes to extend its thanks to Compassionate Care Hospice for the care they had provided her while she lived with her family allowing her to pass with diginity.

    In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association in Veronica's name.
