Saint Clare’s Hospital celebrated achieving the Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center with a special event on Jan. 14. Employees gathered at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville to listen to a presentation by motivational speaker Dr. Story Musgrave, a NASA astronaut for more than 30 years, who spoke on the topic “The Mission: Getting it Right Every Time.”

Saint Clare’s nurses received their Pathway to Excellence pins during the celebration. In addition, the coveted Pathway to Excellence award was presented to Saint Clare’s Chief Nursing Officer Debbie Regen by Saint Clare’s President and Chief Executive Officer Leslie D. Hirsch.

The Pathway to Excellence designation identifies the elements of work environments where nurses can flourish. The designation substantiates the professional satisfaction of nurses at Saint Clare’s Hospital and identifies it as one of the best places to work.
