The artists of Skylands Gallery have annoucned its next Opening Show entitled, "Madness," will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 5-9 p.m. Skylands Gallery is a cooperative of artists from the Skylands Region of New Jersey.

This month's show will feature dozens of new works. Join artists: Phylis Barfoot, Carol Chave, Rima Hamade, Lisa Lopez, James-Jaie Maione, John Maione Jr, Janet O'Neil, Liza Smith-Simpson, Diane Suter, June Ponte, Bruce Young and Justin Zimmer for a night of madness. All artists not only have their originals for sale but affordably priced hand-signed prints with certificates of authenticity.

The show will not only feature fine art but live Irish music by Kevin Kinsella and complimentary food and beverages.

Each month the artists of the gallery seek to benefit a different local charity using their art. This month, the entire group of 12 artists has created new works which will benefit Birth Haven in Newton. The artists are donating 50 percent of the sale from pieces they have created specifically for Birth Haven. In addition the artists have hand-signed prints for sale in which 100% of the proceeds will benefit Birth Haven.

Birth Haven is an independent, nonsectarian, non-profit organization that provides shelter, support, and education for homeless, pregnant women and girls.
