Zero the Hero visits Franklin school

The kindergarten teachers at Franklin Borough School hosted a visit from Zero the Hero in celebration of the one hundredth day of school.

Zero the Hero, a character developed to emphasize the importance of the number 100, shared number stories and donuts with the excited students.

Other activities used to reinforce counting and number recognition included making necklaces with 100 Froot Loops, making chains of 100 paper clips, wearing 100th day crowns, setting up 10 lanes of bowling with 10 pins in each, and building Lego towers with 10 sets of 10 colors.
