    March 11Stanley M. Hood, 37, of Montague was chared with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intention to distribute, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in an amount less than half an ounce, and possession of a drug paraphernalia.

    Deputies said the Special Services United was assigned to a civil process/forfeiture enforcement at Hood's residence. Police said while inpsecting the home at the request of property managers, deputies said they saw several weighing devices, multiple plastic baggies containing white powder suspected to be heroin, as well as other items of drug paraphernalia.

    Police said hood was taken to the Sussex County Sheriff's Office for processing.

    Hood was given a future court dage and released on his own recognizance.
