Which supplements are the best to help me with my lack of energy? I feel as if I need a nap almost everyday.

I hear you, this is a common question, especially with all the "energy" drinks available on the market. I never recommend these to my clients. Instead I always ask about sleep habits, sleep quality and diet. If you are drinking a lot of caffeine products you are actually overstimulating your adrenal glands to kick in with the fight or flight emergency plan when there is not actually an emergency. By the way, that same plan releases sugar from the storage in your liver for the purpose of energy for the fight or flight. If you are really not flying or fighting, that sugar gets restored as fat. Hmmm.

So adrenal exhaustion, caused by constant over stimulation, results not only in constant tiredness, but can result in illness and emotional strain. The best way to combat daytime fatigue is to practice good sleep habits. If occasional daytime tiredness sneaks in, one of the fizzy antioxidant products mixed in a glass of water can give some relief. There are several antioxidant juice products available for use that help relieve tiredness without caffeine, and they actually have some nutritional benefits as well. If your fatigue is excessive, you should see your doctor since some disorders such as endocrine issues or other conditions could be at the root, and may require medical treatment.
