Karen Lambert Fisher

    Karen Lambert Fisher, age 56, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Newton Medical Center. Born in Paterson, Karen had lived in Sussex County for most of her life. She had been employed as a manager at the former Arby’s in Franklin for 17 years and also was a newspaper carrier for the New Jersey Herald for the past 22 years.

    Karen was an avid bowler. She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy (Kimble) Lambert on Jan. 5, 1994. Karen is survived by her husband of 27 years, Allen; her two sons, Christopher and Patrick Fisher, both of Franklin; her daughter, Stephanie Lambert of Newton; her father, Alexander Lambert of Hardyston; her three brothers, Gerald Kimble of Brick Township, Kenneth Lambert of Hardyston, and Todd Lambert of Vernon; her sister, Terri Lambert of Sparta; her grandchildren, Shawn, Jenna, Brett, Justin, Alyssa, and Hailey. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex. Interment will follow at Sparta Presbyterian Methodist Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to help defray the costs of the funeral expenses.
