Boating course planned in Lake Hopatcong

LAKE HOPATCONG — A Boating safety First course will be held on Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Lake Forest Yacht Club in Lake Hopatcong.

Club members will be able to take the course for a discounted rate of $65.

This course is approved by the National Association of Boating Law Administrators and the New Jersey State Police Marine Services Bureau. Students are eligible to receive the state course at the completion of this one day course and passing the exam

Be prepared early for the 2015 boating season and obtain your NJ Boating Safety Certificate, which is required to operate a power boat legally on state inland waterways.
