OGDENSBURG — Ogdensburg Borough School Superintendent/Principal Ernest Palestis on Tuesday, March 17, told the public next year's schedule includes two teachers for each grade in 2015-16.
Several parents attended the meeting and asked if the school board had considered their concerns presented in February regarding splitting the third-grade into two classes.
Palestis told the parents he and the Board of Education welcomes their attendance and to voice their concerns.
"I mean what I say," Palestis said.
Parents suggested in February students would be able to focus easier in smaller classes and also found smaller classes will curtail negative behavior.
