Despite the lingering snow through the beginning of the spring season, Crystal Springs Resort is scheduled to open its six premiere golf courses to the public this week.

Ballyowen Golf Course, was the first to get the green light on Monday, March 30, followed by Cascades, Crystal Springs and Wild Turkey on Wednesday, April 1, just in time for Ski-N-Tee Day with Mountain Creek.

Crystal Springs and its sister resort, Mountain Creek, will offer skiers and riders who visit the slopes for the final day of the season on Wednesday a complimentary same-day round of golf with purchase of lift ticket. For those looking to tee up in the morning, Mountain Creek will provide a free lift ticket to any guest with proof of greens fees receipt.

Black Bear opened on Thursday, April 2 and Minerals Golf Club celebrated its first day on Friday, April 3.

In addition to kicking off the traditional golf season, Crystal Springs is diving right into their FootGolf season by hosting New Jersey FootGolf Association’s first tournament of the year on Sunday, April 12. The New Jersey/Hudson Valley Challenge will award the top four players with a $500 cash prize. FootGolf, which officially launched in the fall of 2013, is a hybrid sport that combines the rules of soccer and golf into one enjoyable activity for all ages and skill levels.
