Candlebox acoustic duo at The Newton Theatre

NEWTON — In a rare intimate performance see the Candlebox Acoustic Duo at the Newton Theatre on Thursday, April 30 at 8 p.m.

This duo fronted by original lead singer Kevin Martin will perform all their hits like power ballad "Far Behind," "You," and "Simple Lessons," which helped sky-rocket this Seattle grunge band to the multi-platinum success that they became and fans embraced.

Candlebox remains filled with the youthful exuberance that marked their first go-round in the 1990s, a decade during which they had a string of alt-rock classics while selling more than 5 million albums.
