Candidate makes unsubstantiated statements

In a recent letter to the editor in which Mr. Nicholas Giordano announced his bid for mayor of Franklin, I was saddened by the vicious, unfair, and unfounded statements directed to quote, “my opponent.” If readers would carefully examine his words, one would quickly realize that Mr. Giordano says nothing other than to create an emotional appeal to the public for votes. Does he backup his statements/accusations with facts? No. He does not because he cannot. Mr. Giordano is a master of circumlocution. When asked a question he will take you on, “a merry-go-round,” which leads to nowhere other than dizziness. And if you question my words, ask him a question. And hang on to your hat. You’re in for a whirlwind, like Dorothy from Kansas.

I am concerned that Mr. Giordano lacks the maturity at this time to lead a town with a $6 million dollar budget.

In summation, Mr. Giordano has the answers to everything but the solution to nothing. Don’t believe me? Ask Mr. Giordano who negotiated a “sweet” contract that ultimately cost Franklin thousands of dollars wasted. He knows.

Please vote in the primary election on June 2. It’s important. Remember, Franklin’s voting history has proven time and time again that whoever wins in the primary is the guaranteed winner in the general election. It’s your town, your taxes, and your money. It has been said that one can fool some of the people some of the time. Don’t be some of “those people!”

    Please! Vote! June 2!
