Ogdensburg students learn about periodic table

OGDENSBURG — The eighth-grade students in Ogdensburg School have been learning about the periodic table of elements, atoms, and compounds in science class.

A small group of eighth-graders wanted to take their learning and share it with others. They performed a song called the "Atoms Family." The song teaches about what atoms are made of and how the sub atomic particles work.

Each student created their own shirt which displayed the electron configuration of their favorite element.

The students performed the song with their science teacher Mrs. Cooper at the school's Cabaret Night.
