Where is Parker Space?

    Yo, donde esta Parker?
Parker has been missing since the solar project became political theatre to vilify and demonize county officials for political gain.

Freeholder Dennis Mudrick is a Sussex County hero. Dennis wasn't on the board when it voted for the project, but in a time of crisis, he set his political aspirations aside to vote for the settlement, the only intelligent option for county taxpayers. No one is happy with what happened, but Dennis chose not to risk losses the county would experience if it got tangled up in litigation that would have by far exceeded the $6.5 million it will borrow from itself to complete the project and keep all future revenues. Cagey politicians fail to admit that the county is receiving over $1 million dollars from the project now with much more when the project is built out by the end of this year.

It was Parker who introduced the solar energy concept to the board. In 2011, gas was almost $4 per gallon with no end in sight and energy costs were devouring budgets. Parker voted intelligently then. There is no need for him to apologize now ... and he shouldn't be hiding. He should come forward and take credit for his efforts to save county taxpayers money.

I like fossil fuel and fracking. I enjoy the relief at the gas pump and the savings in my electric and heating costs, but the way of the future is solar, windmills and dams. American exceptionalism will develop these sources in a way we cannot begin to imagine now. When the Wright Brothers conquered the skies, they never imagined a man on the moon.

People are curious as to who has kept Parker hidden. Was it well-meaning Jill, a running mate expecting a political "coronation", a political "consultant", who supports himself by viciously attacking and smearing people because that's the expectation of his clients, or the SC "boss" who keeps his hands clean while working backroom deals to entice foolish political wannabes to do his dirty work?

I voted for Parker, not his handlers, to represent me. Parker needs to shake off those who make him look as someone who can't think or speak for himself. If he can't demonstrate that he's his own man, he won't get my vote this time.
