— Sussex County Community College's 20th Annual Golf Outing will have a "super" flavor to it when golfers tee off on May 4 at the Ballyowen Golf Club in Hardyston.

In addition to a great day on the course, golfers will have an opportunity to meet Jeff Feagles, former punter and Super Bowl champion with the New York Giants.

Recently selected to ESPN’s list of the 50 Greatest Giants of All Time, Feagles holds the NFL records for most career punting yards, total punts, punts inside the 20, and has played in an NFL-record 323 consecutive games, a run that includes the legendary 2007 Super Bowl victory as a member of the Giants.

Feagles works with many charities in fundraising efforts, including the Jeff Feagles Celebrity Golf Classic in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This event is an important part of SCCC’s dedication to lifelong learning and community enrichment, helping the athletic department fulfill its commitment to providing a quality collegiate athletic experience for students while enhancing the spirit and energy on campus.

The Skylanders Annual Golf Outing has a long tradition of community patronage to generate critical resources to support student athletes at SCCC.

The cost per golfer is $200 and $800 for a foursome. The golf outing begins with check in and breakfast at 7:30 a.m., and then a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and an awards ceremony will take place following golf.
