    April 6 Travis Tinio, 22, of Hopatcong, pleaded guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a third degree crime.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 29, 2015.

    Tinio admitted that during a motor vehicle stop that he possessed cocaine that was located in his car.

    April 9An indictment charges David M. Andrejack, 48, of Newton, with one count of sexual assault, a second degree crime; one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a third degree crime; and one count of sexual contact with a minor, a fourth degree crime.

    The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro. Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next six weeks.

    A Grand Jury indictment is a charge only. The defendant is presumed innocent until guilt may be proved at a jury trial.

    April 10Gabor Szilagyi, pleaded guilty on Oct. 23, to the motor vehicle offense of Driving While Under the Influence and Count One of an Indictment handed up on March 13, 2012 charging that on Oct. 2, 2011 he Operated a Motor Vehicle During a License Suspension for a 2 or Subsequent Driving While Under The Influence, a 4 degree crime.

    Szilagyi also pleaded guilty to an Accusation charging that on Feb. 6, 2015 he Operated a Motor Vehicle During a License Suspension for a 2 or Subsequent Driving While Under The Influence, a 4 degree crime.

    Szilagyi, 42, of Sparta, was sentenced to 180 days in jail on each charge for a total of 360 days in county jail. He was also sentenced to a ten year driver license suspension and mandatory fees and fines.

    Szilagyi was represented by William Strazza, Esq. and the State was represented by Assistant Prosecutor Seana Pappas.

    April 13Richard W. Baarck, 33, of Sparta, pleaded guilty to fourth degree Cruelty and Neglect of Children.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 26, 2015.

    In pleading guilty, Baarck admitted to using drugs in front of a child on Dec. 13 at a residence in Sparta.

    Roland Bossi, 65, of Newton, pleaded guilty to third degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and Driving While Intoxicated.

    Sentencing is presently scheduled for June 26, 2015.

    The defendant was involved in a single car motor vehicle accident and admitted to Newton Police that he had been drinking. After being place under arrest he was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Paul Cordero, 23, of Sparta, pleaded guilty to Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree.

    Sentencing is presently scheduled for June 12, 2015.

    The defendant was stopped by Ogdensburg Police for a motor vehicle violation. During the stop it was discovered Cordero had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. During the search incident to the arrest the defendant was found to be in possession of heroin.

    April 17Edward Williams, 41, of Newton, was sentenced to two consecutive 15 year sentences for a total of 30 years in state prison.

    He must serve 85 percent of the sentence or 25 ½ years before being eligible for parole.

    Williams was arrested in January of 2011 and charged with two counts of 1 degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and two counts of 2 degree Endangering the welfare of a Child. He has remained incarcerated since that time.

    Williams was convicted by a jury on Jan. 7 of all charges. This matter was investigated by the Sussex County Prosecutors Office and the New Jersey State Police. Assistance was given by the Department for Child Protection and Permanency.
