Wallkill Valley FBLA gets Walmart grant

The Walmart Foundation Community Grants Team and the Franklin Walmart has selected the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) as the recipient of a $1,000 grant.

This grant will be applied toward the cost of seven Wallkill Valley FBLA members who will compete at the 2015 FBLA National Leadership Conference in Chicago, Ill., on June 27-July 3. Those members are: Who’s Who in FBLA — Carly DeOliveira; Desktop Publishing – Laura David, Nicole Fadel; Desktop Publishing – Mikayla Savastano; Introduction to Parliamentary Procedure – Ana Schroeder; Community Service Project – Carly DeOliveira, Vincent Moncelsi; and Partnership with Business – Scott Mueller, Ana Schroeder.

These competitors will be joined by FBLA members Merinda Gruszecki, Kyle McKenna, and Amanda Spindler.
