FRANKLIN — Eighth-grade students in Danielle Emery’s science class at the Franklin school designed 3-D models of animal and plant cells.

After researching the functions of each organelle found in cells, students worked cooperatively in small groups and used their creativity to produce a 3-D model. When students were finished with their creations, their cells and functions were presented to the class.
