    Andre Remus of Oak Ridge was named a Castelton Community Adviser for the 2015-16 academic year.

    Castleton Community Advisers are an integral part of the Residence Life Department who have the most direct and constant contact with students. CAs are assigned to a floor or house of 16-50 students and their primary responsibility is to act as a facilitator of community and enhance the on-campus living experience for their peers.

    Samantha Paszkiel of Franklin, a student at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, and Alyse Delaney of Lafayette, a student at The College of New Jersey, were initiated into Phi Kapa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.

    Brooke Van Veen of Oak Ridge was amongh 130 studeents recognized by Lebanon Valley College for making an impact on the campus as a new student.

    Van Veen is a graduate of Jefferson Township High School and is pursuing a bachelor of music in music recording technology at The Valley.

    A reception was held on April 7 in the Mund College Center.
