Franklin student wins superintendent award

FRANKLIN — Franklin Borough School once again participated in the Sussex County Superintendent’s Roundtable Award program, in which one eighth-grade student is selected each year.
Harshil Bhavsar is this year's recipient.
Bhavsar is a member of National Junior Honor Society and also participates in advanced art, Teen Arts, Academic Bowl and is the Student Council president. In addition to pursuing a strong academic program, Bhavsar enjoys playing on the school’s soccer and basketball teams, and is a member of the yearbook staff.
His parents are Suketu and Preeti Bhavsar.
