The New Jersey Hall of Fame Mobile Museum will be part of the free events of the 29th annual Jefferson Township Day celebration on Saturday, July 11.

Through the power of images, artifacts, film, and a suite of interactive tools, New Jersey’s leaders and legends will be made accessible to every curious imagination.

The 53-foot double-expandable trailer will be transformed on the field of the Jefferson Township High School, 1010 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge, N.J., into 850 square feet of exhibition space.

New Jersey’s story is amtale of grit, tenacity and a unique brand of American courage. This spirit is embodied through the lives and accomplishments of it citizens, known and unknown to history. It’s a space built to share the stories of true greatness.

The Mobile Museum serves as an exciting research center of primary sources and inspiration to take pride in the history of New Jersey and local communities. Biographies and induction speeches allow visitors to experience a multimedia approach to hearing about the inductees’ values and successes in their own words. Interactive displays also add depth to the effect inductees had on New Jersey, the United States, and even the global community.

The Mobile Museum was designed by Hall of Fame inductee, celebrated architect and designer, Michael Graves, and Ralph Appelbaum Associates, renowned planner and designer of museum exhibitions.

Begin your personal adventure of discovery by visiting the N.J. Hall of Fame Mobile Museum. It is one of the many entertainment opportunities offered to the public on Jefferson Township Day — the township parade, live day time entertainment, activities for every age group, a Corn Hole Challenge, a BMX bike show, Irish Road Bowling, a hot dog eating contest, a petting zoo, children’s games and fishing contest, inflatable rides, delicious food, and shopping opportunities all followed by an evening concert featuring the exciting band Reminisce culminating in a huge aerial fireworks display.
