Friends of Library to offer scholarship

VERNON — The Friends of the Library, Dorothy E. Henry Memorial Branch is offering a Steven L. Steele Memorial Scholarship, which is open to college bound senior students from Vernon, Hardyston, Hamburg and Franklin.
The scholarship award of $750 will be presented to the recipient for the purpose of purchasing textbooks in any form, as well as school supplies.
The application can be picked up at the Dorothy E. Henry Branch and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/Dorothy-Henry-Friends-of-the-Library.
It must be filled out and returned to library by May 24.
