Railroad club holds annual show

Lafayette artist Bill Frankenfield, also known as þÄúBilly the KidþÄù makes some adjustments to the railcars and tracks on his þÄúNþÄù gauge railroad. The þÄúNþÄù gauge ratio is 160:1, or in other words, one inch equals a little over 13 feet.

FRANKLIN — The Franklin Historical Society and the Sussex County Railroad Club hosted their 13th annual Model and Toy Train Sale and Show at the Littell Community Center on Sunday.
Not counting children who were admitted at no charge, more than 300 adult railroad fans and collectors arrived to peruse the many vendors and enjoy the HO Gauge and N Gauge model railroad layouts that included multiple trains running in opposite directions toward each other.
