Owiepalooza fundraiser was held Saturday at the Franklin Fireman's Memorial Park with proceeds going to enhance Owie's quality of life. Eoghan "Owie" Demsak of Stockholm was born with agenesis of the corpus callosum.

This condition causes both physical and developmental delays that he struggles with. He has had numerous battles sending him to intensive care, bacterial infections, pneumonia and on life support in his short life so far.

Saturday's fundraiser happened to be on Owie's third birthday and he was able to to attend being considered medically fragile. Volunteers gathered from the area and there was a great turnout with the nice weather.

Muggle Juggle entertained the children of all ages giving juggling instructions, a show and Ella the Faerie taking wishes and blowing bubbles as well as face painting, hula hoops, games, food and a band.

Parents Nick and Meg Demsak live in Stockholm, N.J. and are both teachers and have three young children with Eoghan being the second. To contribute or donate toward medical expenses or transportation, visit www.giveforward.com.
