    Sasha Carlson, 28, of Newton was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and two motor vehicle violations after police responded to a call of a woman acting irrationally on Main Street.

    Police said she kicked out the windshielf of her car while sitting in the passenger seat. Police said as Officer Jason Tangorra was speaking to her, he requrested an ambulance to provide a medical evaluation. According to police, while he was removing her from the car, he saw several waxed paper folds commonly used to provide a medical evaluation. Police said a search led to the recovery of 39 waxed paper folds containing suspected heroin, seven empty waxed paper folds and drug paraphernalia.

    She was released and scheduled for appearances in Superior Court in Newton, as well as the Hamburg Hamburg Municipal Court.
