Beatrice M. Talmadge

    Beatrice M. Talmadge, 72, died Tuesday May 12, 2015, at Newton Medical Center. Mrs. Talmadge, daughter of the late Harry and Joyce (Potter) Romaine was born in Franklin on March 9, 1943. She grew up in Franklin and later resided in Frankford Twp. before moving to Newton 16 years ago.

    Mrs. Talmadge was a second-grade teacher at Frankford Twp. School, retiring in 2007. She was a member of the NJEA, the NJ Retirees Education Association, the Lafayette Seniors and the Daughters of American Revolution Chinkchewunska Chapter.

    Mrs. Talmadge was predeceased by her husband Clifford H. Talmadge Jr. in 1997 and is survived by her children, Amy Langley and her husband David of Sandyston Twp. and Kory Talmadge & his fiancé, Elizabeth Halsch, of Wantage Twp; brother and sister, William Romaine, of Franklin and Joan Romaine of Hampton Twp.; grandson, Joshua Langley as well as several nieces and nephews.

    Funeral services will be held Saturday May 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday two hours prior to the service, from 9-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to H.E.L.P. Foundation c/o Frankford Twp.
