NEWTON — The 5th Congressional District Art Competition sponsored by U.S. Rep. Scott Garrett was held this past Saturday at Sussex County Community College.
Wallkill Valley Regional High School had four medal winners out of the 12 that were awarded.
Nicole Spangenberg and Anna Allen were honorable mentions, Laura David earned sixth place and Kara Kovach earned seventh place.
The participating teachers and students were given a certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by the Congressman.
