The American Legion Post 423 of Milton will conduct Memorial Day Services on Monday, May 25.

The Color Guard and the Firing Squad will begin the day by visiting the graves of veterans at several local cemeteries in the area. Commander Lakhicharran will give a service at each of the cemeteries in remembrance of those who have served in the Armed Forces of our nation.

American Flags were placed at each of the graves of veterans in eleven cemeteries earlier this week.

A service will also be held at the monuments in front of the Post on Legion Road at noon on Memorial Day. There will be guest speakers who will honor those who served in the military and veterans who have died.

The Post invites everyone to attend the services at the Post and to stay for refreshments when they are completed.
