Hamburg police receive grant for police radios

The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation presented the Hamburg Police Dept. with a check for $11,110 for 12 new portable police radios

The radios have been purchased from Northeast Communications of Wharton. Northeast Communications agreed to supply the radios and wait for the funds to be received from the Firehouse Subs Foundation in order to have the equipment available to the officers in a timely manner.

The check presentation will take place at the Hamburg Firehouse, 16 Wallkill Avenue, Hamburg.

Refreshments to include a sample of the Firehouse Subs menu will be supplied by Firehouse Subs. Representatives of Firehouse Subs, Hamburg Police, Fire and EMS personnel, local and county dignitaries have been invited to attend.
