Hamburg school holds Greek Olympics

Wednesday was a special day for students at the Hamburg School.

After a series of weather-related postponements, history teacher Michael Blochinger directed sixth-grade student athletes through a series of mostly-modified Olympic games as students in the second and seventh grades enjoyed being the spectators.

The events included relay races, running jumps, discus throwing, javelin throwing (substituted with water-filled balloons), and modified chariot races (that instead were three-legged foot races).
