Franklin Eagle Scout completes project

FRANKLIN — Stephen Sullivan, an Eagle Scout for Franklin Troop 90 Boy Scouts observed his Eagle Project from last year, 12 wood duck nest boxes placed around Franklin Pond.
With hours spent observing his nest boxes from a kayak; he saw the first wood duck inspect his next boxes.
Last month, the first egg clutches were photographed through the small opening on the front of the box. This week the babies were born and about 60 plus babies will enter the water this weekend never to return to the nest.
