Marjory 'Marge' Decker

    Marjory “Marge” Decker (nee Predmore), 87, died after a brief illness at Morristown MedicalCenter on Monday, June 15, 2015.

    Born to Lorenzo and Jessie B. Predmore in Vernon Twp., she spent most of her life in Hamburg before moving to Franklin 16 years ago.

    Marge worked as a mail carrier and clerk for the United States Postal Service in Hamburg for many years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Hamburg Presbyterian Church, member of the Hamburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, serving as past president and county and state representative for the auxiliary. She was an avid reader, camper and enjoyed being with friends socializing and playing games. She was a member of the Lafayette Seniors.

    Marge was predeceased by her husband, Morris “Moe” Decker (1996) and a great grandson, Dade Morris Hazen (2006) and was the devoted mother of Audrey Hardick and her partner, Jerry Clayton of Corona, Cali. and Carol Ann Decker and her partner, Tom Thiesson of Hamburg. Loving grandmother of Jodi Conely and her husband, Chris of Temecula, Cali. and Randy Hazen and his wife, Monique of Highland, N.Y. Cherished great grandmother of Emily, Ethan and Addison Conely, Zane Nehl, Tristan and Logan Hazen.

    The family will receive their friends at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main Street, Franklin on Thursday, June 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday, June 19 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

    Interment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hardyston Twp. Memorial gifts to Hamburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, 16 Wallkill Avenue, Hamburg, NJ 07419 would be appreciated.
