Mayor Steve Ciasullo on Monday, June 8, gave plaques to Patrolman Christopher Geene and Sergeant Stephen Gordon for saving the life of a Hamburg woman.

On Nov. 28, 2014, Geene found a woman in a vehicle without a pulse. Immediately he administered a shock and CPR. Gordon came to his aid, and they saved her life.

Later, Gordon said he was very proud to have Officer Geene working for him.

Ciasullo said at a time when “so many public servants are knocked down for whatever reason,” it was good to recognize the Ogdensburg police officers' expertise and professionalism.
