Sussex Tech holds culinary showdown

SPARTA — Sussex Tech held its second annual Culinary Throwdown, hosted by Sodexo, their food service management company, on May 27.

Creating a three-course meal in 90 minutes was a challenge for these talented students. Although the competition was open to all students, it was the culinary students that stepped up for the challenge. They had to incorporate the secret protein into their entrée which was not known until the start of the competition. Another secret ingredient had to be utilized somewhere in one of their courses.
