Mikolay named sales manager for Valley National

WAYNE — Valley National Bank, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Valley National Bancorp, announced the appointment of Thomas Mikolay to assistant cashier, territory sales manager for the Franklin, Vernon and Sussex County markets.

As a territory sales manager and licensed mortgage loan originator, Mikolay will be responsible for maintaining and developing banking relationships throughout his markets in Sussex County, N.J. He will work with clients to understand the specific financial challenges they face and offer support by providing Valley's array of deposit, loan, wealth management and treasury management solutions to help them achieve their goals.

"He brings a remarkable amount of energy and focus to this role and we are confident that he will position Valley as a trusted leader throughout his territory."

Mikolay holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing with a minor in communications from West Virginia University. He is a member of the Sussex County Chamber of Commerce, the Byram Township Recreation Committee and the Byram Township Sports Council. Mikolay is a resident of Byram Township and previously served as a personal banker for Wells Fargo prior to joining Valley.
