Tequila Rose to play in Jefferson

| 09 Jul 2015 | 03:59

Tequila Rose will appear in the 2015 free summer concert series on Friday evening, July 24, at the gazebo at the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, beginning at 7 p.m.

The performance will be sponsored by the Jefferson Township Library.

Tequila Rose has become one of New Jersey’s hottest “New Country” bands over the last several years by mixing the best of today’s country music with classic country hits of the past and sprinkling in a little rock and roll as well as southern rock. Known for their three-part harmonies, they have kept crowds singing and dancing at many of the area’s top clubs including The Whiskey Café, Big John’s Pub, The Landslide Saloon, and many others.

The band also enjoys playing for crowds of all ages at many of the area’s summer fairs and festivals.

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. In the event of the threat of inclement weather or such weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road.
