The James Dean Orchestra will play in the free summer concert series on Friday, July 17, at the Victorian Gazebo, located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex at 7 p.m.

This concert is being sponsored by The Jefferson Arts Committee.

The James Dean Orchestra will present “A Salute of TV Themes”. Feeling nostalgic for “The Love Boat” or “Barney Miller” show themes from a bygone era? The orchestra also will entertain with other favorites such as “Dallas” and “Batman” and show tunes too, as well as modern-day surprises such as the theme from “Family Guy”.

The six-member James Dean Orchestra features tenor sax, trumpet, trombone and a rhythm section and has been the house band for the Whiskey Café in Lyndhurst.

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Jefferson Township High School Auditorium, 1010 Weldon Road.
